These Terms govern your use of ReceiptCash AI (the "Service"), an AI software application operated by MD SHAHADAT HOSSAN (a sole proprietor based in Bangladesh), available at https://www.receiptcash.com and https://app.receiptcash.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. What the Service does — and what it is NOT

ReceiptCash AI is a software application that helps you scan store receipts and boarding passes, identifies refunds or flight-delay compensation you may be eligible for under publicly available store policies and passenger-rights laws (e.g. EU261, UK261, APPR), and drafts claim messages for you to review. You decide whether to send any claim, and you send it yourself. We do not submit claims automatically on your behalf.

ReceiptCash AI is not a bank, financial institution, money-services business, payment processor, e-money or stored-value issuer, investment adviser, debt collector, or law firm. We do not hold, transfer, or invest your money, and we do not provide financial or legal advice. Any refund or compensation is paid to you directly by the retailer or airline — it never passes through ReceiptCash AI. Our only charge is a software service fee for using the app (see Pricing).

3. No guarantee of refunds or compensation

We do not guarantee that any store will approve a refund, or that any airline or authority will pay compensation, or the amount of either. Those decisions are made solely by the retailer, airline, or regulator under their own policies and applicable law. Eligibility estimates are provided for your convenience and may not be exact.

4. Software service fee

The app is free to use. When a claim you pursued through the Service succeeds, you agree to pay a 15% software service fee on the amount recovered, as described on our Pricing page. You agree to report recovered amounts honestly. The fee is drawn from your prepaid service credits, which you purchase through our payment provider. These credits pay for use of the software and are not a stored-value or e-money account.

5. Payments & Merchant of Record

Service-credit purchases and any future subscription are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh), acting as our Merchant of Record. Polar handles the transaction, billing, and any applicable taxes. Their terms also apply to the payment portion of your purchase. We never store your full payment card details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: submitting false or fraudulent claims, abusing the service-fee refund, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or violating any store's or third party's rights or terms. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited license to process receipt text and claim data solely to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Receipt images are deleted immediately after text extraction.

8. Community content (Refund Republic)

The Service includes Refund Republic, a community where you can post experiences, comments and questions. You are solely responsible for what you post and must not post anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, misleading, or infringing, and must not share other people's personal data (or your own card/account numbers). You keep ownership of your content but grant ReceiptCash AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the Service. We may remove content and suspend accounts; posts can be reported by users and reviewed by us, and content that gathers multiple reports is automatically hidden pending review. News/article summaries in the community feed are AI-generated and link to original sources, which remain the property of their owners.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptCash AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. The Service does not provide legal advice.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms.
